Welcome to my Blog site. I have been a graphic designer for the past Six years. I have a Diploma in graphic design with a minor in business. I enjoy technology and the computer, but do not confuse me for a programmer! I am a graphic designer through and through, with experience in print and web esign. However, I think to be a good designer, you must understand your medium so that you can ilize all the options available to you. I love learning and expanding my skills. One of my latest crazes is CSS layout.

PHILOPHY

Graphic Design

“Graphic Design” is many things to many people. To some it means “to make stuff look pretty.” To me this superficial definition does not give credit to the thought, skill or value of a well executed design. When the principals of design are properly implemented, a mood is created, a perceived value is portrayed, and an intrinsic logic emerges to why elements exist.

Appearances can be Revealing
They say that you shouldn’t judge a book by its cover. However, in today's fast paced world, we rarely have time to read a whole book to know if it is good or not. We attempt to evaluate things by the visible clues available. After all, if you see a front yard with weeds, oil stains in the driveway, and pealing paint on the house, what are the chances the interior decoration is exceptional? Poorly executed design is a sign that corners were cut on the project. If you can’t trust the quality of what can be openly seen, what kind of integrity do you think the hidden elements of a project will have Good graphic design is essential to business. It is the primary way of communicating professionalism and credibility when being presented to the public.

  Catch cover, Foil print, Blister Label, Hapa Mat Pad, Advertising   materials, Visual folder, Digital banner,

  Company profile, Annual report and promotional printing materials for different countries and local market
• Digital photography of product

  Prepress (Output):
                                   
  •  Output planning according to paper, board size
  •  Setting cutting mark, registration mark
  •  Convert spot or extra color for better result and cost effective of printing
  •  Convert the Adobe Illustrator (ai) file to Adobe Illustrator EPS (Encapsulated Post Script) with creating  

     out line of font for not missing font
  •  After planning and developing out put, post it Quark-Express for print of positive.

  Press & Quality control:
  • To assure quality press print according to design and color print, check the machine print (Proof)
  • Check color, registration mark, paper during machine proof
  • If found any disorder of machine proof, stop bulk production, and suggest how to minimize the problem.
  • Ensure quality of bulk production, have to monitor regularly
  • Timely report to higher management about quality of printing

  General duties:
  •  Prepare work order for printing
  •  Requisition of paper, ink, general stationary
